Time range for 1 course: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The courses are intended for: Designers, planning and network design, assembly workers, construction managers, technicians, service technicians, network operation or supervision personnel

Courses:

1. Theoretical foundations of fiber optics
2. Optical connectors and fiber cleaning
3. Welding and mechanical connecting of optical fibers
4. Optical cables – part of the course is a guided visit to the manufacturing plant OPTOKON KABLE Co., Ltd., s.r.o.
5. Active elements
6. Passive elements
7. Fiber Optics splicers and cleavers
8. Fiber optic testing, OTDR measurements, power meters and light sources
9. Cable closures
10. PON, FTTX – OPTOKONcept
11. Structured metallic cabling CAT5e, CAT6e ,

Each participant will receive:

• Course completion certificate after passing a short test
• Electronic access to download lectures
• Printed materials, solved examples
• Refreshments for the duration of the training, lunch 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

The application deadline is one week before the start of the training.
